In Sri Lanka, many communities don’t have access to clean water. This gift will go towards providing a builder and the materials to construct a well, while communities provide the skills and labour to help build and maintain it.

“All the people in our village came together to provide the labour. The well gives us the only clean drinking water in the area for 30 families. Before, we had to walk almost 2km to get water from the public tank. To keep the water clean, we only use it for drinking and cooking.
