Gift giving has never looked so good

At Oxfam Unwrapped, we believe giving for the good of others never goes out of fashion - we’ve been giving people the gift of hope since 1953! That’s why we’ve created another range of gifts that lets you give something truly unique to your friends and family and most importantly, something to those less fortunate around the world.

When you buy a gift from the catalogue, your donation helps support our programs that the gift represents. In return, you’ll get to give a card to the recipient explaining how their special gift is helping others. So not only will your gift giving abilities look good, everyone will feel great too.
Have a flick through this catalogue, choose a gift that best suits your friend, relative or co-worker and help continue what we’ve always believed - that giving good never goes out of fashion

Look the goods in 4 easy steps.

1. Choose your favourite gifts.

We’ve sorted our gifts into eight fun sections that cover a range of products and prices to suit everyone.

2. Place your order

Ordering online saves Oxfam Australia money and is a great way to personalise your gift card with a message and send it to your recipient. (Or, we’ll send you the card and you can write your own message.)
  • Phone 1800 034 034
Call us Mon – Fri, 9am to 5pm AEDST and place your order over the phone. Orders may take a few minutes to complete.
  • From the catalogue
There’s an order form and instructions at the back of the catalogue that you simply fill out, tear off and send back. We’ll send your gift cards back to you.
  • Visit an Oxfam shop
Oxfam Unwrapped gifts are available from our Oxfam shops as pre-printed cards. We also sell a wide range of products that support Fair Trade. For your nearest shop call 1800 034 034 or visit www.oxfamshop.org.au
  • Unwrapped Goat gift cards
You can also buy a unique Unwrapped Goat charity gift card from Woolworths, Dick Smith and Big W stores.

3. Personalise or write your own card.

The best part about Oxfam Unwrapped is the card you get to give as the gift. With every item you purchase, you will receive a card that explains the role the gift plays in fighting poverty.

You can have cards delivered to you to write your own message. Or if you order online, you can have your own message printed on the card and we can send it directly to your recipient.

4. Save the world from another unwanted gift!

And that’s it! Your donation will go to those who need it most and your recipient gets much more joy from their card than another unwanted gift. No kidding!

Also, all Unwrapped purchases are tax deductible – we’ll email you a receipt and you can request a hard copy if you wish.

Good giving: here’s how it works.

We often get asked – what happens when I buy a goat?
Well for starters, we don’t ship our goats off hoping an afro and a pair of shades will get them by. And it’s the same for the other gifts in the catalogue. All these gifts are real items we use to help fight poverty, however when you purchase a gift, your donation will go towards funding programs that your item represents.

For example, when you buy gifts such as a calf, cattle manure, seeds, fruit trees, a veggie garden, a goat, bees, a duck or a farmer’s pack you’ll be contributing to our agriculture programs.

Or if you purchase safe refuge for women, a well, a clean water filter jar, food for a child, a bicycle ambulance, an Aussie rules footy, breakfast for an Indigenous child, orphan care, water for a school, or support an Indigenous granny group, you will be funding our health programs.

To support our education programs, you just need to purchase the gift of literacy classes, paint and brushes, help a mother and baby or the One small bag drama kit.

When you buy a buffalo, start a small business, a bridge, a piglet, a chicken, sewing training, a fruit juicer, a fishing net, a rice bank, fix a house or build a boat, you’ll be helping fund programs that give people a livelihood.

Or you can help Oxfam act quickly in times of emergency by buying a mosquito net, cooking sets, a toilet, a Watsan kit or a bucket hygiene kit.

You can also support our advocacy programs by purchasing fair trade fashion, save a river or climate change.

Any way you look at it, the donation from your gift will go where it's needed most.
